UPSC Engineering Services

The Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to recruit engineers for various positions in the Indian government. General Studies: Current affairs, general awareness, and basic knowledge in subjects like history, geography, polity, and economics.

Engineering Aptitude: Basic understanding of engineering concepts, reasoning ability, and problem-solving skills.

Engineering Discipline Specific:

Civil Engineering: Structural Analysis, Design of Structures, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, and Construction Management.

Mechanical Engineering: Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Production Engineering, and Machine Design.

Electrical Engineering: Circuit Theory, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Control Systems, and Instrumentation.

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: Analog and Digital Electronics, Communication Systems, Signals and Systems, and Network Theory.
